GALLERY 4 (Fallen's Children continued)
This is an exciting page as it represents an outstanding breeding. This is the only time I did a Father Daughter breeding and I got the best dogs I could have hoped for. It is said that if one does a tight in-breeding (which one can't do very often without serious problems) one either gets really healthy dogs or really sick dogs. This is what tells one their genetic problems. I don't suggest breeding just for this reason, but I found success in this one. This is a brother and sister, and the brother was a very difficult dog to show. I was in college when these dogs were born and my grandfather was taking care of them for me so I didn't get to socialize them as much as I would have liked to and boy were they stubborn. The brother Gizmo would not move at all on lead until he was a year old! Then he just TOOK off. He led me around the ring. That is the most exciting dog to show, one that shows YOU! He was truly a GREAT show dog, which was in the top 10 and above in the breed and All-breed system for years. He is a group winner and went second Award of Merit at our National Specialty. Much thanks is given to Mrs. Keke Kahn to whom I had never shown until that day so one can't say politics was involved. Thanks Mrs. Kahn for judging Dogs!
