ABOUT TROY CLIFFORD DARGIN
Troy Clifford Dargin was born in Ramstein, Germany in 1977. His family then moved to Knob Noster, Missouri and then onto the Omaha metro area where he spent his childhood years. Dargin attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received two bachelor degrees, one in Vocal Music Education and the other in Theatre Performance. After an extensive performance pedigree Dargin decided it was time to use his degree so he taught Middle School Vocal Music for two years in Saint Joseph, Missouri in an inner city setting and the other part in a very upper class setting in Plano, Texas. Dargin quickly found that teaching "ain't what it used to be" and went full time into showing dogs while he took some classes at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music studying under Dr. Anne DeLauney. Athough Dargin grew up in the Omaha area he feels more at home in the Missouri/Kansas area after spending more than a decade there attending college. Now Dargin is involved in many entrepreneur activities. Besides having his own business he is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas in Speech Pathology where he is connecting the performing voice to the science of the voice.

After having a year of a wake up call Dargin found strength in Jesus. Dargin is a strong believer but adamantly rejects being called "religious" as he believes these are two separate entities.

Dargin has a new breath for life and looks forward to the future. Future goals include producing and acting in movies, singing, all aspects of dog shows, and of course breeding state of the art "Falling Star" Shih Tzu.
